John Conklin

Conklin has over 37 years of industrial, commercial, and renewable and alternative energy experience; has provided companies strategic management, operations, and governance expertise, and provided technical and business consulting services to more than 50 technology, manufacturing, and industrial process companies.

His strategic business planning and development work includes the evaluation and analysis of energy technologies and markets; and the review, analysis of, and funding of energy technologies for specific Applications. John has developed and held seats as a Director on Executive Boards and as a Technical Advisor. As a Director on the company Board of Directors, he’s been responsible for the effective management of the company’s business; make strategic and operational decisions for the company and is responsible for ensuring that the company meets its statutory obligations. He has developed and supported operations and administration of Boards by advising and informing Board members, interfacing between Board and staff, and supporting Board’s evaluation of operations, governance, and committees.

Additionally, he has acted in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, and only exercise powers for the purposes for which they were given; promoted the success of the company, its members, and stakeholders; exercise reasonable care, skill and diligence for the benefit of the company. He’s a dynamic team builder, synergist, and leader offering striking success propelling entrepreneurial startups and turning around start-up, small, and mid-size companies through optimizing comprehensive, integrated change across all areas of operations. Conklin specializes in strategic management and advising entrepreneurs on how to be more effective; make strategic and operational decisions for the company, help companies meet their statutory obligations, and he participates in board meetings to enable the board to reach strategic and operational decisions to ensure company obligations are fulfilled.

He has invented or co-invented more than 18 patent filings and developed more than 20 Trademark filings, is a Licensed Pilot, Certified Football Official, enjoys scuba diving, and outdoor activities and fitness. He earned an Associates in Arts & Science from Broome Community College and a B.S. with Suma Cum Laude Honors of Distinction from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He was inducted into the Gold Key International Honor Society awarded only to the top 15% of class and inducted into The National Society of Leadership and Success (Induction at President Level for Honors GPA). Conklin, while working fulltime, is currently an honors graduate student at RIT.

Operations Manager

Anthony Conklin

Anthony has over 3-years’ experience in managing strategic partnerships and operations of technology and business development plans for a company where maximum utilization of opportunities and resources, and elevation of team spirit and a culture of excellence will be achieved for the company.

As NVD Associate managing strategic programs and operations, and sales and marketing, he has established and maintained technology partnerships which help advance the Company’s Commercial products. During his sales and marketing career he has maintained relationships with commercial partners where the technology can be tested and establish possible joint-ventured relationships for further development and/or deployment.

Anthony has identified and pursued applications for government incentives, grants, or other financial support for ‘green’ technologies; and collaborated on long and short-term goals for the group to support the Company, department, and market vision.

Mr. Conklin has managed multiple projects, specializes in gantt chart creation, and project monitoring and execution.

While on the Dean’s List, he earned an Associates in Arts & Science from Broome Community College. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). While at RIT, Anthony was on the RIT Dean’s List, was a member of the Student Council, and was inducted into The National Society of Leadership and Success. Anthony earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Binghamton University School of Management in May 2022.
